Perspectivas de utilización de los métodos de modulación digital con fase continua en los sistemas de telecomunicaciones modernos

Se describen los principales tipos de modulación digital con envolvente constante, que se están desarrollando en sistemas de telecomunicaciones, entre ellos la modulación de fase cuaternaria (QPSK y OQPSK). La modulación de fase continua que presentan mejores propiedades con respecto a otros tipos digitales. Por ejemplo, mayor fidelidad en radiocanales no lineales (característicos en la telecomunicación móvil celular y vía satélite), menores niveles de energía fuera de banda, etc.
En especial se describen las señales MSK y su variedad con filtración preliminar gaussiana GMSK que se emplean ampliamente en los sistemas de comunicación móvil celular digitales, por poseer menores mayores niveles de energía dentro de la banda de trabajo, fidelidad potencial máxima, mejor compatibilidad electromagnética con otros radiosistemas, etc. Se analizan las principales tendencias de desarrollo de los tipos de modulación digital MSK.
